DESCRIPTION |
Fine quality Victorian silver smaller tea pot in a style reminiscent of the regency period with part fluted decoration, concealed hinge and a full cape rim. The cape rim provides a balance point for your other hand whilst pouring
the tea and also catches spillage when adding hot water. An ingenious and functional design that was fashionable for a regretfully short period. |

fantastic quality, used but not abused, minor bumps, some hinge play, heavy tea patination within. The tea patination (tannin) would be easy to remove but I have left it in situ for now as those who know about such things tell me
that this level of patination takes very many years to achieve and significantly improves the brew. |
