DESCRIPTION Good antique English Georgian solid sterling silver mote spoon with a long bowl drop and exceptionally good hallmarks for these items.
SILVERSMITH Joseph Steward II, first registered mark 29th January 1755. Joseph was apprenticed to Richard Pargeter and then Richard Bayley, both spoonmakers, and you can find one of Pargeter's mote spoons in my SOLD Mote Spoons section, m6872.
