INDEX ALL SILVER
DESCRIPTION Antique English Georgian solid sterling silver Bright-Cut Old English pattern tea caddy spoon with a simple 'P' engraved to the cartouche.
SILVERSMITH George Wintle probably. Not quite enough readable to be certain but the date is right for George as is the spoon's form and style and the position of the hallmarks. In the last image the thicker and wobbly vertical line through the hallmark is reflection of my light tent and the lighter, smoother curved vertical line to the right is the top edge of George's oval punch outline struck transversely in this instance. The clearest part of the mark is the internal right side of the 'G' with the left edge of the punch almost totally rubbed.
