DESCRIPTION |
Georgian solid sterling silver cheese scoop with pusher and a monogram engraving to the spade. These often come fitted with a rather dull green stained wood or ivory handle. I prefer the
look of the mother of pearl handle and it sits well in the hand. Unloaded the mechanism feels loose and floppy but under load the rear raises up and forces the pusher guides into position on the spade edges and also gives good
contact with the blade surface. Do not be tempted to adjust the two screws until you have experimented in action. |
