INDEX ALL SILVER
DESCRIPTION Georgian solid sterling silver Old English pattern basting/gravy/stuffing/serving spoon with frontal monogram engraving. Good original condition with clear hallmarks and still as heavy and chunky as the day it was made. Some surface marks but no wear and no thinning from over polishing. It is now very rare to find such pieces in this condition.
SILVERSMITH William Ellerby or perhaps the specialist spoon maker William Esterbrook of Exeter who moved to London a couple of years later.
