| DESCRIPTION | Antique English Georgian solid sterling silver punch ladle inset with a Georgian sterling silver shilling. The long handle is partly spiral and terminates in a silver cap. The silver shilling is from 1743 and features the older bust of George II, the legend GEORGIUS (1743-45) instead of the more usual GEORGIVS and roses in the angles (1743-47). Punch bowl engraved 'G'. |
