Each salt has the original crest engraving and no erasures. The silver Hanoverian with Rat Tail spoons are the correct pattern for these salts. |
| SILVERSMITH | Edward Wood, specialist salt-cellar maker. Apprenticed to the specialist salt-cellar maker James Roode in 1715. In 1728 Edward became the master of David Hennell who also became a prolific salt-cellar maker. |
