Silfren and The Bedford Gallery
DESCRIPTION |
A very unusual Irish silver Celtic point serving spoon. The top profile is a straight line with none of the curves that you would expect to a spoon, more like a mote skimmer than a serving spoon, and the bowl is rounded. There are the initials MHM engraved over a possible very old erasure and verso are some good, clear bottom marks. |
