Silfren and The Bedford Gallery
DESCRIPTION |
Something for the man who thought that he had everything. An Edwardian hammered silver cased 16" leather shaving strop beautifully crested above a motto that translates as 'To have a conscience free from guilt' and complete with spinning suspension loop. The leather is basically good as is the internal spring mechanism. A scarce piece of antique novelty silver that is still fully functional and useful today. This combination of crest and motto is for the Bullocks of Essex. |
