DESCRIPTION |
A good Georgian silver four bottle cruet stand with a set of four Victorian cut glass bottles, two with silver mounts. The stand has a fully hallmarked vineous decorated handle, a heavy gadrooned edge and sits on four lion's paw feet. The bottles consist of two with glass stoppers, good for oil and vinegar, one silver topped pepper caster and one silver topped mustard pot. Altogether a very handsome and useful piece of table silver. | ||

The stand is excellent with no repairs, monograms or erasures. One of the retaining nuts is a custom made hand cut replacement. | ||

One bottle lip has two large chips and the rest have some very slight nibbles. The mustard pot finial has been reseated and the internal rim mount to the pepper has one dent that has not affected the glass. All shown below. | ||
