DESCRIPTION |
Georgian silver gravy boat with a leaf capped scrolling handle, wavy rim, hoof feet below unusual leg terminals and a simple crest engraving. Although the same form as cream boats of the period, this item is larger and of much thicker metal than the usual cream boat. The thicker metal, if warmed first, will keep the contents hot for longer so suitable for gravy and other hot sauces. |
