Small and sturdy Georgian silver cream boat with a flying leaf capped 'C' scroll handle, gadrooned applied top rim and three hoof feet. There is an original initial 'J' engraved below the bottom handle joint. Condition issues, see below. |

MAJOR FAULTS |
The strengthening piece added to the lower part of the upper 'C' scroll is nearly as old as the boat, almost original. One leg has an old repair. |
MINOR FAULTS |
I suspect that the body has some lengthways compression, you can see movement to the body directly below the join in the applied gadrooned top rim. Some internal impressions from the handle and leg joints. One leg joint impression has been roughly corrected in the past. Several little body bumps and two legs are not straight. |
