DESCRIPTION

Late William IV silver cream jug of good heft, just as you would expect from these fine makers. The base rim and feet are deeply cast with the greatest of detail and the body has exquisite engraved decoration including floral swags and a roundel to each side. The interior is richly gilded ensuring that that this item is perfectly safe for food use.

excellent, no repairs or monograms although I suspect a sympathetic erasure to one roundel (the silver is still thick but you can just about see three tiny lines, see the eighth image).
