Original Georgian silver mote spoon with a long rat tail, the pale and scroll pierced bowl later engraved 'EA' to the bowl back and within the bowl with the earlier and original reversed initials 'LL'. Correctly marked twice to the bottom of the stem with the maker's punch twice. |

a good and certainly genuine example, not over polished so has a pleasing colour, very slight wear. |
FAULTS |
both of the tiny lugs linking the pairs of scrolls to the central spine have fractured. A simple, inexpensive if delicate repair that does not need to be done in my opinion. |
