| DESCRIPTION | Very good and scarce antique English Georgian solid sterling silver marrow spoon with a long drop and beautifully struck and well preserved hallmarks. This marrow spoon was sold by Christies auction house in London, part of lot 55, on 26th October 1993 and still wears that lot number under a piece of sticky tape. |

I have left unpolished and with the Christies label attached because some of you prefer that, but I have other silver from this sale and can confirm that the sticky tape is easy to remove and has not harmed the silver.
