| DESCRIPTION | Cased set of six silver gilt spoons issued in celebration of the Silver Jubliee in 1977 and marked with the optional additional punch. Complete with original certificate and booklet of abridged histories and contained within a wooded case finished in typical 1970s velour. I have used the images from an identical set that I sold last year. This new set is in the same, perhaps even better, original condition and also comes with six grey velvet spoon pouches and the original white cardboard outer box. The velour case shown below has a couple of surface marks, the one that I am selling now does not and is perfect. |

| OVERALL CONDITION | excellent and original. They do not appear to have been out of the case since 1977 and have built up some surface colour. Unusual to find silver in such untouched condition and so I have not polished them but am certain that they would brighten up easily with a light rub. My camera has exaggerated the degree of surface colour and they are all actually much lighter than they appear below. |
