DESCRIPTION |
Good set of six Georgian silver Onslow pattern table spoons with scarf jointed cast terminals, later gilded bowls and matt decoration. Cased by the high end silversmiths and retailers Stephen Smith & Son, 35 King Street, Covent Garden. They traded from King Street 1867 to 1889 and this is also a probable date for the bowl gilding and sandblasted matt finish to the stems and bowl backs. |
