| DESCRIPTION | Good set of vintage English sterling silver handled Old English Feather Edge pattern knives comprising of eight table and eight dessert/salad/side with 'rustless' steel blades and soldered joints. The soldered joints technically enable cleaning in the dishwasher but the silver will dull and wear and the lifespan of the knives shortened. Much better; wipe with warm water wetted soft cloth and dish soap, rinse in cool water, dry with soft towel. Whatever was on them cannot be too bad as just a few hours earlier you were putting it in your mouth. The hot dishwasher is fine for ceramics but not your silver. |
