DESCRIPTION A canteen of Old English pattern solid silver for twelve persons including all the knives and serving pieces. Comes within a superb quality fully fitted box with optional stand. Would make a wonderful wedding gift.
The box has three layers;
TOP
12 x table knives, 12 x dessert knives, large carving knife and fork, poultry carving knife and fork and sharpening steel. All have foliate engraved decoration and are by Cooper Brothers, Sheffield 1929. All have soldered joints betweens blade and handle so can be washed safely in a dishwasher.

OVERALL CONDITION all the silver is perfect with no signs of use at all, no engravings and no erasures. The box is a magnificent piece of furniture in its own right, the inlaid shield cartouche to the lid is inscribed 'A 25 Not Out'.
