DESCRIPTION |
Good quality long run of Georgian silver handled table knives with a double thread pattern and modern stainless steel parallel blades. Each handle is engraved with a device for the Order of The Garter, so they are likely to have once
been owned by a knight. The motto in French
Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense translates to Shame on him who thinks this evil. The hygienic modern blades enable these knives to be used in safety but the loaded handles are not suitable for a dishwasher. Eighteen available and I will split
into even numbers. |

all blades excellent, the handles have surface marks commensurate with use and have been well maintained, some with well executed repairs to the collars and some hallmarks are rubbed but for Georgian handles they are surprisingly
good. |
