DESCRIPTION |
Set of five Victorian solid silver Queen's pattern teaspoons with frontal gothic 'B' engraving. Very unusually these have partial Russian hallmarks that pre-date the 1896 national mark so it is
very likely that these spoons were exported to Russia immediately after manufacture. The Russian mark of 84 zolotniks (.875) is incorrect as the London sterling (.925) can clearly be seen. |
