DESCRIPTION |
Six very good Georgian silver Hanoverian pattern three tine forks. Four initialled 'ES', one 'R' and one, very unusually, has never been engraved. Five have a small oval French silver import mark used from 01/07/1864 to 30/06/1893. |
SILVERSMITH |
most marks pinched/rubbed but I can read one by Ebenezer Coker and one by Walter Tweedie. |
DATE or HALLMARK |
The Coker fork is dated 1755 as are one/two more, the rest are of similar date but the marks are rubbed/pinched |
