DESCRIPTION

All details are for the forks running from left to right below.
A set of twelve Hanoverian without rat tail three prong dessert forks, all erased verso and later decorated to match. Eleven have been engraved verso with a Baron's coronet above a crest and the 1924 reproduction has never been engraved or erased. One of the Paul Callard forks is a duty dodger, marked simply four times with the maker's punch. All forks are and feel hefty and solid, but the 1924 reproduction is extremely so. The 1739 fork is longer, narrower and thinner than the others.
