DESCRIPTION |
Very rare and surprisingly heavy antique English Georgian solid sterling silver Fiddle pattern straining spoon
with a nice and original frontal crest engraving. Used to serve cooked vegetables from their cooking juices.
You can still see many little surface marks and wobbles on the vertical filter bars left from poking out blockages.
These items are generally rare and those found are usually Dublin made. It is extremely rare to find a London example. |
