DESCRIPTION

Chinese Export silver Fiddle and Thread pattern table fork bearing a set of pseudo Georgian English silver hallmarks and made for the American market. See Forbes No.60 and fig.57a. "Part of the wedding silver of Harriet Colby Webster, who married the Rev. and Hon. Peter Parker, M.D., in 1841". This service was originally of eighteen place settings, most of the forks now missing. This is likely to be one of the missing table forks.
